How about us born in the 50's? My first was a Timex Sinclair. I programmed all of the 1K with the front page of a US tax form 1040. My first commercial programming was done on a UNIVAC 7.
In the 80's I operated a repair shop for Commodore 64 and their floppy drives. Soldiering those 64 pin chips were a bear. I after market replaced the soldier in chips with a zero force insertion socket.
We used phone cradles for connectivity. No such thing as an internet. When we got modems, we thought it couldn't get any better.

@Trogg - oh the phone cradle 600 & 1200 baud modems lol... The suction cup noise when you would end the "call" brings back some memories. Remember Bulletin Boards - I tried to explain those once to my son - sort of the internet before the internet. He flat didn't understand lol. Memories.
