General update from GS in the last half an hour:

We are currently evaluating higher than normal ping times and instances of packetloss on our network in St. Louis. There is no need to open a ticket for this issue at this time while we work to troubleshoot and address the issue.

I'll ask if they can move server #2 to another hosting location. although they've been unable to service such requests when technical issues have arisen in the past.
