Alright, I'm late to the game, as usual.

Lately, I've been trying to be a little more open-minded about people around me. I grew up in a small, religious community that wasn't very accepting of different ideas. Even once I grew up and broke the mold (yes, I'm a heathen now) I've still always struggled with people around me and why they do some of the things they do.
Something that's stuck with me that helps, and it's been said a few times by different people (the latest to get attention for it being Bill Nye), is this thought: Everyone you will ever meet knows something you don't.
